His first musical outing of 2017, Sammy Porter revamps a version of “A Bit Patchy”. Sampling The Incredible Bongo Band’s timeless hit Apache, which last appeared in Switch’s remix back in the mid-00’s. This version serves up a deep rolling bassline with warehouse style drums, made for dark club nights and late, late nights / early mornings.
A step away from a previous more a commercial release in the end of last year, this EP is aimed at 4am dancefloors rather than 4pm daytime radio, showing Porter’s versatility in both domains. Remix’s to come from young midlands based talent known as Malin and Essex boy Bongo Ben who has a live percussion retake on the track.
