Music Promotion

A huge part of the Unorthodox Music goal is to support and develop the global dance music scene and culture. As part of our commitment to do this, we create original content which is uploaded to our website. The posts are then shared out to our social media accounts much in a similar way to a blog. We also share dance music news, events, venues, and artist updates with our followers. Through this platform we have an extended reach and a community of followers who each also have a passion for dance music.

We allow artists to make submissions direct to us for consideration and should a submission be chosen to be supported, there is then potential for us to offer further support to the artist, whether that be in the form of further content creation such as further track support, interviews, music video production, promotional images or event coverage of events at which they play. We may also ask artists to provide a feature mix if appropriate which will again be shared with our followers.

Unorthodox Artists

We also have a roster of Unorthodox Artists, these are artists in which we offer full support and are part of our family. If an artist chooses to sign to our roster, this in no way affects their record label or management contracts, we work independently of these entities. An artist can expect as part of full support that every future release will be given a full promotional feature on Unorthodox Music for the duration of the agreement. We will often also interview them, keep their profile on our website within the Roster section of the website and show further public support of the artist whenever possible. We will endeavour to also attend at least one live show per year of the artist with full production kit to record content of the performance for use both in our promotion of the artist and for use by the artist for their own promotion.

Digital marketing / paid promotional services

At Unorthodox Music, we have staff who undertake digital marketing work and can do so for Artists, Events and Venues. We can create ad campaigns with set budget based on existing content or can create bespoke content for a variety of goals. This may include promotion of a specific track or event, through to a social media growth campaign. Often, we also provide our own budget for the promotion of content on our network.

We do also offer paid promotional services, whether that be for an extended feature / coverage piece, fast tracking of promotional services, coverage of events or performances and content promotion outside of our network.
